A painting by the artist James Foort called: Bahr Delivered To A New Owner

Bahr Delivered To A New Owner

In the story, on the opposite side of the world to the sophisticates, are primitive people. They are coveted by the sophisticates as people who can serve as slaves and for injecting fresh options by mating with the sophisticates or for cloning perfect people. A master slave is delivering Bahr to her new owner in the village of the primitives. Tears show her reluctance to go from the community she has grown up in. One hand gripping the master slave and the arm extending backwards, signal her wish to stay where she is. The backward palm of the master slave signals the inevitability of the intention. The rose colored enclosure of the compound confirms Bahr’s status as a slave. The story about the status of ones who appear free over those bonded tells a tale of a constant struggle between those who are free and those who are not, those with power over those with little.
