A painting by the artist James Foort called: The White One Looks Over The Metropolis At Dawn

The White One Looks Over The Metropolis At Dawn

On the other side of the world, the White One, ruler of the Metropolis, center of the sophisticated, super modern community, ponders domestic problems. The city features her presence as ruler in the oval medallion. In the medallion, the clinched fist signals control and the open hand, freedom. Remember the bundle of sticks in a clenched hand used by Fascists to support the same sentiments; controlled freedom = no freedom. In the foreground, dome dwellings are linked to a tubular transportation system. Everything needed is a touch away from gratification. Left side, is the distant village looking like a printed computer board. Transportation trolleys on the outer surface of the tubular track, cannot interfere with one another as they pass. The tubes, inside, house the delivery system (not shown).
