A painting by the artist James Foort called: Jonah And The Whale

Jonah And The Whale

The myth of Jonah in the stomach of a whale is troublesome. What if the WHALE were the name of a ship? What if the WHALE as a ship were the name of a casino? What if the tongue were the dock for people coming to the casino by sea? What if the dock supported by piles were for land-based clients? What if the ship from which Jonah was cast could allow his rescue at the tongue? What if the white government buildings with the low volume Canadian stamp glued to one of them were not a Canadian Custom House? And what if the ONE, in the upper left side top corner, who might have given us the story, resembles me?
